The Hindu character of Delhi has been lost due to almost one thousand years of foreign invasions and occupations. The remnant of its Hindu character is Goddess Yogamaya and Her temple in the heart of Delhi.

The revival of Delhi's Hindu Heritage is linked to the times when Goddess Yogamaya was the Presiding Deity worshipped widely in Delhi.

"Delhi: City of Yoginis" retraces the ancient Hindu Heritage and the spiritual past of Delhi, working towards its revival.

The revival of Cholakkara Durga temple in Malappuram is the triumph of Dharma over all evil. Innumerable hurdles had to be overcome to revive this ancient temple destroyed during the 1921 Moplah riots.

Thanks to all who supported and contributed to make this happen. Thanks to Shri Girish Kaimal for contributing the ceiling of the temple in the name of his parents Shri GopalaKrishnan Kaimal and Smt Radha Kaimal.

Restoration of the temple till the ceiling is complete, the work of the temple kitchen is ongoing. We will complete the rest of the restoration work and restart worship of Cholakkara Durga Devi soon.

The restoration of the Garbhagriha of Cholakkara Durga temple has reached ceiling stage. The ceiling work started on 11 Sep 2025 after rituals to sanctify the wooden planks.
